UPS Industrial dianggap sebagai sistem catu daya yang sepenuhnya kustomisasi untuk lingkungan yang kasar dan dirancang khusus untuk melindungi beban beban kritikal dalam aplikasi industri di mana tegangan transien yang disebabkan oleh penurunan kualitas pada pasokan listrik utama, dapat menyebabkan kerusakan serius pada UPS dan beban beban kritkal.
Sistem UPS Industrial sepenuhnya fleksibel dan dapat disesuaikan dan dirancang untuk instalasi aktif-on line antara sumber listrik, sumber by-pass dan beban kritikal di mana inverter mengeluarkan tegangan dan frekuensi AC yang telah diatur ke beban dan rectifier mengeluarkan tegangan / arus DC yang telah diatur ke beban DC sepanjang waktu tanpa gangguan.
Proses konversi daya, mengisolasi beban kritikal dari gangguan listrik normal dan mengisolasi sumber utama dari pantulan harmonik yang diinduksikan oleh beban yang dapat mempengaruhi beban lain yang terhubung ke jaringan penyulang utama. Rectifier mengubah daya AC menjadi DC untuk mengisi baterai Lead Acid atau Ni-Cad serta juga menyediakan sumber tegangan DC yang diperlukan secara kontiniu sesuai dengan rating kapasitas dari inverter. Modul semikonduktor IGBT digunakan dalam inverter PWM dan kontrol logika untuk menghasilkan bentuk gelombang output sinusoidal yang presisi dengan kandungan harmonik yang sangat rendah. Modul semikonduktor thyristor juga digunakan dalam rectifier untuk menghasilkan operasi yang andal.
Sistem terdiri dari rectifier /charger, inverter, bypass statis, bypass perawatan, transformator isolasi rectifier, transformator isolasi inverter, transformator isolasi saluran bypass, stabilizer saluran otomatis, distribusi DC, distribusi AC, kontrol dan pemantauan. Output AC dari inverter dihubungkan ke beban kritikal, baterai penyimpan dihubungkan antara masukan input inverter dan output rectifier /charger melalui MCB isolasi baterai. Input daya AC normal terhubung ke rectifier; rangkaian eksternal bypass juga mengambil daya dari sumber yang sama untuk menyediakan daya pada beban beban kritikal selama operasi bypass ketika sistem dalam mode pemeliharaan.
